ENGLISH:

"DELTA" is a Neoclassical/Prog Rock/Metal band, formed by Rodrigo Guerra (Guitar) and Nicolas Quinteros (Keyboard) after intermittent intends. They struggled through some years, so, half way there, Santiago Kegevic joined the band. In mid 2003 they could find the talented guitarist, Jorge Sepulveda. Later on, Rodrigo Guerra, left the band, and Benjamin Lechuga took his place and joined the band at the same time as Felipe del Valle who would be the new vocalist. Delta's base was formed and their professional career started at the end of 2003 when they had the chance to record their first CD. It was recorded at late 2003 / early 2004 and its name is "APOLLYON IS FREE". Once the album was recorded, they finally could find the drummer that they were looking for, Andres Rojas. Delta was playing live in all 2004 and 2005. Definitely, the 2005 was a good year; Benjamin Lechuga was endorsed by Ibanez Guitars! And in the middle of 2005, they were called to play with STRATOVARIUS in Chile. After that, in early 2006, Delta started to work in the recording sessions for the new album called "BLACK & COLD", Benjamin Lechuga and Santiago Kegevic were endorsed by Magma Strings. Also there is a formation change in the band; Jorge Sepulveda decides to leave the band for personal reasons. Delta on 2007 opened shows for 2 worldwide metal bands: SYMPHONY X and VISION DIVINE. The year 2008 couldn't start better. The band toured through the South of Chile and on March 1st we opened the show for DREAM THEATER in Chile being elected for that job by Mike Portnoy himself. In april 15th, Delta opened for "Riders on the storm: THE DOORS" too. And now, with their third studio album called "CRASHBREAKER" (Featuring Metal Mike Chlasiack) and their first live DVD "LIVE AT THE BEGINNING", Delta is considered one of the most successful metal band in Chile appearing in lots of webzines, magazines (Rolling Stones included), some radio stations, fanclub and more. Hard working and trying to do the best music they are capable to offer are their main objectives for the future. Delta has a long journey to travel.

DELTA - La Banda de ROCK/METAL progresivo de CHILE.

Delta es una banda muy joven que nace el año 2003 a raíz de los intereses musicales del tecladista y compositor Nicolás Quinteros. Los integrantes de esta banda son: Andrés Rojas en la batería, Marcos Sanchez (nuevo integrante) en el bajo, Felipe del Valle en la voz, Benjamín Lechuga en la guitarra eléctrica o acústica (endorsado actualmente por guitarras "Ibanez" y ENGL amps), y por último, Nicolás Quinteros en los teclados. Esta agrupación muestra un estilo musical orientado al Rock/Metal Progresivo cantado en inglés, que cuenta con una discografía de 4 publicaciones hasta la fecha. Delta ha sido escogido en diversas oportunidades para abrir shows de grandes bandas internacionales como Stratovarius (dos veces), Symphony X, Vision Divine, Dream Theater, Edguy, Angra y The Doors (Riders of the Storm). Actualmente Delta se encuentra trabajando en su 4rto disco en estudio que saldrá a la luz bajo la mano de AUSTRALIS RECORDS.
